Japan Day 2 : Tokyo Station, Tsukiji, Ueno & Ropponggi Hills

As the title says, 2nd day in Tokyo is dedicated to those 4 places. It started off with Tokyo station as we're to transit there before heading to the other places. Tokyo station is really, really huge. It doesn't feel like any other train stations I've seen before. The underpass can be as long as 1km plus where I feel like walking there is so torturous to get to the other end of the station.

I found the LUSH in Japan!!! Before leaving for Japan, I've been planning and listing down what I wanna buy from Lush already. So glad that I found the shop. Spend hundreds in the shop. Its heaven.

December, month of JOY

I know, I've been neglecting this blog again. Been really busy for the past month with finals coming up and my long awaited trip to Japan. Yeap, had an early graduation trip to Japan with Ryan for 12 days long. Its and early graduation trip because I'll only graduate after the summer semester. That's if I pass my last two subjects. But hey, I'm on the optimistic side. I'm sure I can do it if I study hard. :) So the trip is a bonus after my finals in November!

The trip was a really good one as I love Japanese food, especially their sashimi. Oh gosh, it was heaven there as they serve the freshest sashimi! Maybe I'll just do a quick update on my trip from day-to-day. :)

Day 1: Tokyo (Akihabara, Ueno, Ginza)

Our tiny little comfy room in Tokyo. Apparently all their rooms are this small. The walkway is only shoulder-width wide. We could barely open our luggage fully. Ugghh!

Our first stop. Multi-level electrical store that is duty-free. They have like 8 floors in total?

First stop for sushi! Its a typical "kaiten" belt sushi bar. They always have lunch promotions where the sushi are really cheap during lunch time.

Everyone's been telling me bout the vending machines. Yes, this is one of the vending machines outside the restaurant. Purchase your meal at the vending machine, and grab the ticket into the restaurant for your food. :)

This is the largest "drag-and-drop" machine centre I've seen. They have like 3 floors filled with all these machines. Its in the Sega building. All sorts of toys, collectibles and souvenirs can be found here.

Next stop: Ueno park.

We just had to have this Belgian waffles in Ginza street. Although its not Japanese, but its tempting much.

Its so hard to find food in Ginza, as everything there is overpriced. Its like Bukit Bintang in Malaysia. Expensive food all around. Thank goodness we found this ramen shop in one of the backlanes. Don't fancy ramen like this. Its those milky soups like the ones we have in Ajisen Ramen. I prefer the ones in clear soup.

We relied heavily on this to know our direction of destination. :)

Yet again....

Finals is just around the corner, yet again. Happens once every six months. No surprise. However, feeling a little reluctant to study this time. All thanks to the two subjects thingy which I took. I always feel stressed out whenever I took 4 subjects because there's always insufficient time to finish studying all four. Now that I have two subjects only, there goes my lazy attitude. Whenever I tell myself that I need to study already, the evil side of me would go, "Oh, there's only two subjects and its both Marketing. Chill for abit first". So far, I've been on the chill mode for 2 weeks already. Which means, I was supposed to start last two weeks! Ohmaigawd. Wake up!!!

Sides to that, have not been updating much because there's nothing much that happened lately. The only thing I can think of is the Monash Annual Ball this year. Got the perfect dress, at a perfect price for the Ball. Only thing, is that my dress is black again. Told myself that I wanted something different, but couldn't find any suitable and affordable dress around except for the black one that I bought. Got the dress from Love on Earth by Celia Loe, Parkson Pavilion. Really great cutting I must say! :) The Ball was held all the way in Mariott Putrajaya. Sounds posh, but meh...Wouldn't even rate the hotel 5-star. It was so poorly maintained and the quality they used were really cheap and terrible! Food wise, goes along with their poor maintainence and quality. Quite disappointing I must say. Spent RM80 for nuts. However, it was my last Ball, couldn't afford to miss it.

I'm actually doing a quick update through my phone. Glad that they finally introduced the iPhone app for Blogger. At least now I get to update on the go. It is also easier for me to post up pictures as I don't have to transfer them to my lappie first. So much more convenient now. I'm a happy girl! :)

There's always a first.

When I meant there's always a first, its referring to my first time accepting an event job. Usually, I don't fancy those jobs unless the pay is worth my time there. This time, my aunt asked if I'm interested to work for the Blackberry Channel Gathering in Shangri-la. I'll mainly deal with dealers and she did mentioned that I'm only to work for 3hours and dinner is provided with a really good pay! So, I thought why not? But much to my concern, its one heck of a tiring 3 hours. So much for getting a good pay. That brings me back to why I never wanted to do event jobs. LOL! The only benefit I had, was that I get to treat the Blackberry like its my own for that whole 3 hours! :)

Besides that, my aunt also asked me to do a photoshoot for Blackberry. Had lots of fun doing it as its been ages since I last went for a photoshoot. Brings back sweet memories. :D I've been out in the Star and Utusan this few days. Its AWESOME!!!

Flawless

Just a random post on how I actually maintain my baby smooth flawless skin. :) The thought of this post came up when recently, most of my friends have complimented that my skin was really flawless. So I thought it would be a good idea to share a few magic items that helped me. Honestly, I wished that my skin would be completely flawless, but no, there's still mountains of blackheads on my nose which I'm still trying hard to make it disappear. :(

On my daily routine, which I never fail to skip no matter how lazy I am; I start off with a mild cleanser as my skin is rather sensitive.

This is like, the best cleanser I've used so far. It doesn't dries out my skin and any light make-up is thoroughly removed.

Then, I'll tone my face using the Laneige Power Essential Skin Refiner. For me, all toners work the same for me. As long as they don't have strong alcohol content in it, like how Clinique's toner has, which is really bad for sensitive skin.

And the vital, vital part of my skin regime. I MUST, must, I repeat, must have this no matter what. The Vichy's serum. Seriously, this little bottle really works like magic. I got introduced to it during one of the warehouse sale. And I've no regrets splurging on it. My skin really improved alot after using this in the first week itself. My skin is now baby smooth, all thanks to Vichy. :D

And lastly, I use a hydrating moisturiser to lock all those moisture in my face to have a supple skin. It definitely has to be the Laneige's Water Bank series.

I'll only feel secure after going through all these steps. :)

TA-DAH! Say hello to flawless skin. I know that I put on make-up in this picture, but it wasn't any heavy make-up at all. I only use Laura Mercier's Mineral loose powder whenever I go out, where loose powders usually have the least coverage. Mineral powder has really improved my skin condition too compared to those normal powders which actually clogs up my pores and I'll also get a mild breakout.

I just realised that I don't really camwhore, that's why I couldn't find any other close up pictures of me. LOL!

Its almost the END

Its been the last week of July already. Friends are all packed with classes, while I'm here feeling all so free as I only have two subjects this semester. Which makes my timetable quite flexible, with classes on Wednesdays to Fridays only, ending before lunch. :)

Throughout this winter break, I've not been feeling well. Having a real bad cough. Even as I type now, I still cough badly. :( Couldn't concentrate much on what to post up. Guess I'll just post up more when I'm feeling better.

Oh, how I wish I could be free from my cough. LOL!

Week 3 of Winter Break

So quick, time flies. I'm only left with one more week of winter break. Have not been fully utilizing my break this time around. More of slacking around the house than going out. Guess its a good sign, I'll spend less. Parents must be really happy with me this month. :P Most of my time is used to experiment my baking skills. So far, managed to baked Chocolate Marshmallow Brownies and Coffee Streusel Cake successfully. However, the effort taken to bake these cakes is tedious. If only I had a maid, then I wouldn't mind baking more cakes.

On a random note, last Sunday, Ryan suggested a day trip to Malacca as he promised to bring me for a day trip during my break. We were supposed to wake up at 7am, but as usual the clock has failed us. We ended up waking up only at 8.30am and left the house about 9ish. Our first stop was supposed to be the famous Chicken Rice Ball. Thank goodness, when we reached about 11am, the queue wasn't that long. It was drizzling a little though. If it wasn't for the drizzle, the weather would've been scorching hot. All we ever did there was to eat, eat and eat. We had our durian chendol, pineapple tarts, pork satay, mille crepes and also the famous Capitol Satay Celup. Our only break was to walk around Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan, while waiting for time to pass so that we could go for our satay celup. I was glad that we managed to eat everything that's on our list. Usually, the list could not be fulfilled as we were too stuffed. This time, we managed it all well. :)

Its been 5 months now

Can't believe that it's been 5months that I've stopped posting. All I could think of was either I had nothing much to talk about or I've been busy with my assignments. Like really, really busy. Had to go through the torture of assignments as I took 3 statistics subject. Couldn't run from it as it was the only semester available for all 3. Assignments were really long and tough, making it really time consuming and also it was one after another. I'm glad that it is all finally over now. Am on a long break for about one month or so. Whee!

As I've been MIA for quite sometime, I thought that maybe I should briefly post up about what has been going on for the past 5 months.

In March:
Girls day out for a karaoke session to start of the semester. Surprisingly, we're all from the Econometrics and Business Statistics major. Not some typical geeky girls huh?

Then in April:

Went for a drinking session by randomly picking a place in Changkat Bukit Bintang. We stumble upon Elixir. The Cranberry Vodka made the boyfie and me experience the worst diarrhea ever and almost lead to the hospital for him for a mistaken appendicitis.

Then came Siew Mei's birthday that we celebrated in The Hill, Damansara Heights.

When May came about:
Celebrated Mother's Day with the boyfie at Kura, One World Hotel.

As for my mom, we celebrated it a day earlier at Hoofed, TTDI. :)

Monash Yoga Club had a small little farewell for those leaving to Australia and graduating. I was trying to be active in university, so I decided to run for the Secretary post in Monash Yoga Club and also became the Treasurer for the Woman's Affairs Collective.

June the stressful month:
Planned out a huge surprise for the boyfie. Had dinner at the romantic Tamarind Springs then to a KL tower view room at Renaissance to blow the cake.

Boyfie's birthday celebration with his family in Senjyu, e@Curve.

Then got to release my stress after finals at Rootz, Lot 10 with the girls. Awesome night out!

Then out for a drinking session at Zouk bar, The Gardens.

Shots never fail to make me happy! :D

Basically, that's pretty much about what happened for the past months.

Fabulous February

February has been a great month for me. For obvious reasons, its CNY and Valentine's, and also my family's yearly holiday trip - this year to Shanghai where Ryan came along! :)

Shanghai was great! We took a flight on AirAsia to Hangzhou then a 45mins ride on the bullet train to Shanghai. It was totally the opposite of what I would thought it would be. As I thought the place would be really dirty with open toilets and the food sucks! But much to my surprise, the food's there awesome! And the toilets had locks. LOL! The only problem we had when we were there was none of us could really speak Mandarin except for a few simple words. Like seriously, just by giving directions to the taxi driver could get us all frustrated. Since we were already in Shanghai, I insisted in having as many steamed dumplings, aka "xiao long bao" as I could. We have it every single day, in search for the best one, which we found in Yu Garden. Somehow, the dumpling skin over there is much thicker compared to the ones we have in Dragon-i. Hmmmm, I wonder why.

Won't be posting up much pictures as the weather there was cooler than what I estimated it to be. Whole trip, the temperature was around 2-8degrees. Could barely put my hands out of my pocket, even with the gloves on. :P

I'm glad that the boyfie could be part of this trip. Glad to see him getting along real well with my parents and my brother. :) The trip was so much more interesting with him around. Our very first trip overseas. More to come definitely!

Yee Sang fever

Chinese New Year is just merely a week away. Am so into the CNY mood already cause for once, I'm all done with my shopping. New clothes, bags and shoes is all I need. I feel the joy of wearing them once CNY approaches. Every single year, CNY gives me a reason to shop all I want with no nagging from my mom for overspending. :D

CNY is not even here yet and I've already had Yee Sang twice in two weeks. The first was with Parkson's advertising agent, ETC at Spring Garden restaurant, Tropicana Golf and Country Club. I must say, the food there is awesome! It felt like I was in a wedding dinner with and 8-course meal. Yumms! The second time I had it was with the bunch at New Paris Restaurant, SS2 last night. I guess it was kinda like the post-celebration of the boyfriend's high school mate's wedding held on Sunday.

Penang '11

"Good things come to those who wait" -Rob Kardashian.

Early of the month, went up to Penang as an impromptu plan. The boys wanted to celebrate their high school mate's bachelor's night as he's based in Penang. So all we did was to drive up to Penang over the weekend. It wasn't just a bachelor's night celebration, we basically ate our hearts out as well. The boys and girl were literally eating every single hour. Proof that they've been eating non-stop is that they've gained at least 2kg each. Crazy people with huge appetite.

We started our journey early in the morning with our first stop in Ipoh then only to Penang. And on our way down, we stopped by Ipoh again before visiting Bidor town.

However this trip is somehow not as interesting as last year's trip as we had little or no chance to try out the hawker food at all. :( We had mostly seafood. The only plus point in this trip is that we got a good deal for the rooms in Krystal Suites, Bayan Lepas. Kinda dodgy though. LOL! The other plus point is that we paid a visit to Hard Rock Hotel & Cafe. Awesome place I must say!

Exploring Yoga

Yesterday, managed to rush back from work to CHI-fitness in PJ Trade Centre to claim my free one-day trial. Unfortunately, I was too tired. The original plan was to stay in the fitness centre from 6.30pm till 10pm as there were 2 classes going on. The earlier was Yoga Flow and the later is the newly founded JUKARI Fit to Flex. I'm pretty amused with the JUKARI exercise and wanted to try it out to get a first hand feel instead of just watching the YouTube videos. Sadly, I was just too tired to continue after the Yoga Flow. By the end of the class, I was already drenched in sweat. Strain on my arm muscles as there were several arm exercises. To be specific, I feel a sharp pain on my underarms when I move it. :(

The fees were not too pricey and they have a non-contract basis where you pay as you go every month.

Per month: RM159

Admin fees: RM99

Joining fees: RM99

Deposit: 1 month of fee

However there is some promotion price as well.

6-months lum sum: RM888

12months lum sum: RM1528

*There is no joining fee and admin fee for the 6 & 12-months payment.

I'm still considering if I should join as its nearby me house only. Hmmm.

End of 2010

Its finally the last day of the year 2010. The year has passed ever so quickly. Much have been done, however, never seem to achieve all of my resolutions. I wonder if next year, the same thing would happen again. LOL! So far, there's no plans yet for the new year's eve as I really, really don't like getting into a crowded place and sweat all over after that. Clubbing is definitely a no-no for me as I heard from my friend's past experience that the clubs are usually super packed. Might be spending the eve at home. Who knows.

Let's see what I've done/achieve so far in 2010.

1. Finally went to Bali, Indonesia as I've never been before. Great holiday I would say, relaxing much.

2. Gotten myself a new camera, Canon PowerShot S90. A really good camera I would say.

3. Brought Mom to really satisfying dinner for her birthday at El Cerdo. Would want to go there sometime soon again. :)

4. Went for a food hunting trip to Penang with the bunch for 3days 2nights.

5. I moved house all the way to Mutiara Damansara.

6. Did a major surprise party for the boyfriend's birthday and I actually blind folded him all the way. LOL!

7. Short trip to PD with the bunch again in Legend Waterhomes where we had a private pool.

8. First time to Monash ball. Good experience.

9. October marks our very first anniversary. :)

10. First internship in Parkson was fun!

11. Had an awesome birthday party which was really memorable for me. :)

12. Great old primary school gathering in Klang. Lots of catch up.

Well. Much has been done for the year. I'm looking forward for 2011 to be twice as much fun as I did for this year. And definitely to excel in my studies as its my last year already and I'll be graduating soon!

TWO-OH

No longer a teen. A young adult perhaps? LOL! I'm officially 20years old now. Way, way after all of my friends. I seem to be the youngest in months so far.

Had an awesome birthday which I think will be hard to forget as it was really unexpected. Had a huge birthday dinner at Tamarind Hill on the 27th, where most of my closest buddies were there. A total of 21 of us were at the dinner. The food is really really good, will update more on it. :) Then on the 28th, went all the way up to Genting with the boyfriend just to chill in the chilly weather up there. Planned to watch Gulliver's Travels, but the timing wasn't right. We end up spending our time playing at the arcade centre and chill at Starbucks for a bit before coming back down.

Later on, family dinner at Renaissance again. But this time, we had Japanese food as I love love love sashimi! And there salmon sashimi there is really fresh! Great family dinner I would say.

I was just randomly mentioning to him and my parents that I would love to see balloons all over and I didn't know that he actually remembered what I said and took all the effort to buy the balloons and decorating the place. Thanks heaps, love!

Off to Genting the next morning and we ate non-stop as soon as we reached. :)

Christmas is just a week away. I'm so so excited for Christmas every year. But unfortunately, although its just a week away, I've no plans yet or whatsoever except for the gift exchange session in my office. Other than that, been able to attend several Christmas parties as an intern. I feel really grateful that I get to be involved with these events. Bro's Big 2-4

Big brother has just turned 24 on the 24th of November. Although, he's 24 already, but honestly, he don't look like one nor act like one. He's still like a young teenager by the way he acts. LOL!

Its our family tradition that we always have birthday dinners together. =) Sadly, this year, Dad couldn't join us as he's busy with his work in Penang. Couldn't come back in time to have dinner together. However, Bro was a happy, happy boy as his girlfriend is back here in KL just to celebrate his birthday together. Bro even claims that its one of his sweetest birthday ever. How sweet! XD

Mom decided that we have a buffet dinner as Bro loves to eat, in BIG, HUGE portions. So it'll be really worth it to bring him to a buffet. We've decided with Vogue Cafe in Renaissance Hotel, KL for dinner. The food there is really good! Food is always replenished on time and its really fresh! =)

Shopping spree

I've got a whole 2 weeks of summer break but sadly, it felt like I didn't have enough time to enjoy my holidays. All I ever remembered doing past week was to cut my hair and thats it. Then as for this week, made the effort to drive down to KL to get new working clothes together with Sue Tee and JuLi as we're starting our internship next week already.

This week has been one hectic week where I was out of the house for a good 10-12hours running errands. Driving, and driving and more driving. It was dead tiring as only slept for a few hours and wake up early again every morning.

As I was saying, our shopping spree has been decided to be in Sungei Wang. I know most of my friends think that Sungei Wang is a "la-la" den. Or in better terms, harajuku style. I used to think that way too until I decided to actually pay a visit to Sungei Wang. Its actually my first time shopping over there, literally. Did most of the shopping at the top floor, 6th floor. Apparently its more chic and young on the top floor. However, the Ground and Lower Ground floors had lots of promotions as well. Its like RM25 for storewide on all pieces from tops to bottoms to dresses to cardigans. Dirt cheap! And honestly, most clothes I've seen them on online shopping websites. Its the exact same for a cheaper price. The top floor however, the prices varies, but everything can be bargained. =)

Bought a total of 6 pieces. 4 tops for prices ranging from RM25 to RM45 and 2 jackets ranging from RM45 to RM80.

Will definitely wanna go there again sometime to do more shopping. At least I get to shop more for a cheaper price now.

Haircut

I've been wanting to try out a new salon as my regular salon charge prices that are way beyond what they are supposed to. For a normal hair trim, I've to pay a whopping RM80. If its at A Cut Above, I wouldn't mind, seriously. But not for the one I'm going. Pfft!

Lately, I've been recommended by my mom's ex-staff to check out this particular salon at Mont Kiara. It's called Cu's & Do's Hair Lounge, its right beside Coffee Bean at Solaris. I decided to try it out, and to my expectations, it didn't fail me. I'm totally satisfied with the new look the director gave me. I get to maintain my long hair but with a sleek touch. Highly recommended for those whose searching for a good hairstylist for an affordable price. I paid only RM50 for the haircut and wash. Plus, its from the director! Good deal! Currently, they are also having a 50% off for all treatments. However, I'm not too sure this promotion will last how long. The particular brand their using is Lorea'l and Keratase. The hair spa by Lorea'l is only priced at RM60 for shoulder length and RM120 for Keratase. The hair color is RM160 for shoulder length as well, depending on the amount of color tubes used. Price varies. Really reasonable price.

Another selling point by them is that, there's actually a TV lounge for those who are waiting for their partners. &&& each customer is given a notebook to surf the internet with. Not any ordinary notebook, but a 14-inch Toshiba laptop. =) I would recommend for you to look for this particular hairstylist, Scott. He's good!

I'm back with my blogging mojo. It feels like its been ages since I last came up with a post. Thought that I would have lots and lots to update, but to my surprise, there's nothing much to update about as all I could remember doing was to study day and night. Pfft!

There is one exceptional thing that I did in between studies. All thanks to William's birthday, I got lured into going out for a drinking session with the guys. =S It happened the first week of Saturday and the most random thing happened. Decided to dropped by Rootz in like 5mins. Makeup and dressed up in 15mins. First time ever. LOL!

Going MIA

I'll be going MIA after this post. Got to study for my finals which starts on the 1st of Nov. So SOON! Couldn't study much for the past few days as I was down with fever. As expected, I always fall sick towards the end of the year. No surprise to me. But this year, just at the wrong timing, when I was about to study. At least now I'm feeling well already. So, so much better.

And guess who will be doing her internship at Parkson during her summer break?

Received my offer letter this evening from them. Can't wait to do my internship with them. Hopefully there's always something new to learn. =) Although its all the way in their HQ in Klang, but oh well the drive is gonna be crazy. No longer staying in Klang in not a good thing at times. Haha.

I know I've been missing out on updating lately. Been really, really busy with my never ending assignments. Other students of other majors are already preparing for their finals, studying and revising. But here I am, still stuck with my assignments. Grrr. Stress level reaching the maximum stage already.

In the midst of preparing for my assignments, I still managed to celebrate my first anniversary with the boyfriend. Time really flies, so quick, we've been going through ups and downs for over a year already. We've done so many stuff together that I was telling Ryan that if I were to compile all the photos, one album wouldn't be enough as there's too many of outings, road trips, clubbing and holidays. =)

It was our first day and we went to the outdoor theme park where we queued so long for the Corkscrew.

Monash Annual Ball - Premiére

Last Friday, managed to attend the Monash's Annual Ball held in One World Hotel, for the first time. I guess the students got a little excited that its a new venue, that the tickets sold out just by the 3rd day of the opening. Mind me, there was like almost 50 tables if I'm not mistaken, rough estimation.

Had already planned to get dressed up together with Juli and SueTee. We got all the timing planned out so that we will be just on time. But turns out that everything we did was delayed. We were stuck in jam, lunch was a little too long cause we were so hungry. We even took at little longer to shower. LOL!!! Then when we went to the salon to get our hair done, there weren't enough staff around to attend to all 3 of us at the same time. We only estimated to spend around 1hour in the salon, but turns out we spent almost 2hours there. The staff there were rushing to get our hair done quick that the wash hair boy actually poked my eyes with the sharp comb. I had a little swell on my eyelids. Pfft! We were running so so late!! In the end, we only got around 45mins to do our make up. Thank goodness, everything turned out well. Our make up was good, hair was just right and our dress were perfect! =)

We had our after party in Maison. Wanted to have it in Phuture, Zouk at first, but there were too many underage. Am afraid that they couldn't get in. So to be on the safe side, its better to go somewhere which everyone is able to enjoy. &&& the very next day, Jaecent called to tell that many of our Monashians who are underage didn't manage to get in. LOL!! True enough.

Perfect Getaway

Yup! PD trip updates it is. Stole the photos from Abigail's Facebook as the boyfriend has yet to upload the photos from his camera. So here are a few that I've picked.

Movie Date

Last Friday was movie night for the boyfriend and me as it was a public holiday, plus it has been ages since we last watched any new movies. Wanted to watch Phua Chu Kang the movie at first, but after deep thoughts, I thought that Step Up 3D would be a better movie. Indeed, it was the right choice. The moves and the music in used in the movie was superb! I even wished that I could danced like them. Basically, one word to describe the movie, AWESOME!!!

Before the movie, we had dinner in Umami along with Ken Nie and Eugene. Umami is a steamboat buffet restaurant in Sunway Mentari. Seriously, if people think that Yuen Steamboat is good for their chicken wings, I think that Umami is way better even without the chicken wings. Its cause of they serve chilled lamb slices. Mmmm. I love lamb! It goes well with their herbal soup. The lamb slices are like so so fresh as well. The environment in Umami is way better than other steamboat buffet around too. Clean, well furnished and not as noisy as the others. Would definitely go back there again for another round of steamboat buffet.

In my next post, will update a little on my road trip to Port Dickson and Malacca. =)

The boyfriend has flew off to London on Tuesday for his sister's convocation plus a vacation to Rome, Italy after that. Guess I'll be spending more time doing girly stuff with the balance of girlfriends back here.

3 days of class

Finally there'll be a long break from classes. I'm so tired of doing assignments one after another. My brain juice is all dried up because of these. Thank goodness for the public holiday on Friday and the coming Tuesday. Will be heading off to Port Dickson for a relaxing holiday during the weekend. John managed to get us a beautiful room in Legend Waterhomes. Every room has its own private swimming pool. Nice! Even Mom and Dad wants to come along! =)

Anyway, the last weekend wasn't spent productively. Been slacking at home as usual, instead of trying to do my assignment. I'm always a last minute person. Which I think that I've to change that bad habit of mine. Pfft!

At least I got to go swimming with the boyfriend at night after dinner. Didn't know that swimming at 10pm could be so cold! Wanted to dip in the jacuzzi, but it closes at 10. So we dipped in the swimming pool instead. Its been ages since I last dipped into my swimming pool though. Wish I could do it more often.

Make up wonders

There's always something great about girls. Its that we girls get to dress up prettily and make up beautifully. Its worth the hours getting ready. So I think guys shouldn't complain that we take hours to get ready. =) The outcome of a beautiful face and pretty outfit is worth the hours. All the effort put into making up is just so that we look better and boost our self esteem. Well, I'm not too sure for other girls, but it does for me. I always feel more confident with make up on. Whether its a light one or a heavy one. Its not that I'm not satisfied with my looks, but more of like enhancing it. I've came across the make up world only when I started college. When I realised the wonders of tinted moisturisers to begin with.

It made me look fresh all day long.

Then came along concealers for my under eye as I have dark circles all the time, whether I slept enough or not.

Soon, I came to realise the magic of eyeliners, on how it enlarges my eyes instantly. Starting off with pencil liners. These Lancome eyeliners really does wonders. Highly recommended. =)

But not long after I ventured into the clubbing scene, I started to rely heavily on gel eye liners as they are water proof. Which is suitable for sweaty conditions.

And I swear by this Majolica Majorca Mascara (Lash Expander Frame Plus). It comes with fibers in it that extends my lashes by miles. Every girl must haves for a complete look.

Then, my mom introduced me to this beauty. Its Bobbi Brown's Shimmering Block used as bronzer. I've got tanned skin, so blusher don't really suit me. Instead bronzer looks really pretty. This particular one is really, really very good. Highlights the jawline and cheekbones.

My latest would be the discovery of BB creams in the market. Decided to give it a try and it really does make my skin look smoother. However, it only gives medium coverage. Comes in handy for day make ups or light do. Am currently using Skin79's Diamond Prestige BB cream. Not so suitable for me as it makes my skin look white and pale. Suitable for fair skin though.

I'm into well groom brows as well. I started off with threading, bearing with the pain I go through just to look good. Then slowly, I started paying slightly more for Shu Uemura's professional service which is less painful and better looking brows. To define my eye brows, I use KATE liquid eyebrow liners which looks natural.

As for the powder, I've been using Benefit's Get Even. Full coverage and evens out skin tone. I have blotchy face where my cheeks are reddish. This powder does the trick.

I'm no pro in make up. But the wonders it does for me, makes me feel confident when I'm out and definitely makes me happy. Top shopping items for me. Can never get enough of them. =P

I noticed that I only update on Mondays lately. Must be the Monday blues that hit me, making me feel like updating only on Mondays. Class starts at 3pm and its only for an hour. How annoying can that be? Driving all the way to uni, park my car and stay for an hour only. Pfft!

Last Saturday was time to relax. Celebrated Ken Nie's birthday in Rootz, Lot 10. I still wouldn't change my perception towards Rootz. I still don't like the environment there, especially the music. The dancefloor is always packed! Even the walkway to the dancefloor or toilet is jam packed! Can hardly move around.

New month, new responsibilities.

So quick time flies, it's already August. I'm feeling the weight in my head already as I have 3 assignments due in the very same week, which is in 3weeks time. Marketing always set their dateline in the same week. Pfft! Guess I'll need to work hard soon already. =(

Last week, I paid a visit to Klang to support my piano teacher, Ms. Choy's Charity Carnival in Aeon, Bukit Tinggi. Before heading down to Klang, I went for my 2nd class of yoga. Hot yoga to be exact. I love the effects that the heater does to my body. I get warmed up quicker and sweat alot to remove the toxins in my body. I've enrolled in BeYoga, Metropolitan Square, Damansara Perdana. The instructors there are all higly experienced and are celebrity instructors.

I took the 5-month unlimited package for RM588, which is considered really worth it as they have a minimum of 9-classes each day. Time to tone those fats away! =)

Speaking bout the charity carnival, the weather was so hot! Once we reached there, we had to search around for icy chilled drink to cool ourselves down. Earlier, we took almost an hour plus to reach Klang from PeeJay as we missed a turning in NKVE, leading us all the way to Banting. LOL! Stayed an hour or so in Klang as the weather was such a turn off and needed to rush for another meet up.

My weekend was a relaxing weekend after the carnival and the meet up.

City of Lights

Sometime last two weeks ago, paid a visit to I-City with the boyfriend. We had planned to go there a long time ago, but this trip was unplanned at all. Before dinner, we just decided that we should go to I-City. The journey from PeeJay to I-City was smooth at first. But right before the exit to I-City, somewhere 1km to 2km before, it started to jammed up. Cars were actually queue-ing up to turn into the exit. On a Saturday night at 10pm, who would've expected that there's still so many people who will go there?

When we got there, we were kinda disappointed. The amount of people there puts us off. It was so packed that you can never have a picture without distractions in the background. Furthermore, almost 80% of the people there were Malays. (Not trying to be racist here, but sometimes, they're just the ones that block your way and slows down the walkway. Pfft!)

Tom Dick and Harry

Last Thursday, manage to take Samuel out of his busy schedule to meet up in Tom, Dick and Harry in TTDI, PJ. I've never been to this place before, but heard from many that its good. Especially when they bring in imported draught beers like Hoegaarden and Tetley's. They even have the draught beer for Blackthorn Cider. Yummay!

Called along Ryan, Ken Nie, Eugene, Chun Hien and Ian Shaun. Surprising that both ChunHien and Ian Shaun can make it. =) Good to see them again. Among all of us, only Ken Nie, Eugene and me are not into DSLRs. Whereas, the rest of them were too busy talking bout their DSLRs and fondling with Samuel's Nikon. Haha. We had a good time laughing at stupid jokes and catch ups.

The best part about Tom Dick and Harry that got us fascinated was that it was free of service charge and government tax! Which means, we do save alot on that.

5 years and still counting.

Met up with STAR school mates last Friday at Subang. We've been together in a group ever since Form 3, but I left to Convent in the mid of Form 4. I'm very lucky to still be part of that group and we never fail to keep in touch and meet up once in awhile. =) We were supposed to meet in Empire Gallery to have Chili's for dinner. When reached, we were informed that the waiting period is close to an hour. So we decided to walk over to Subang Parade to have TGI Friday's instead. Thank goodness we didn't have to wait.

As usual, we were always the noisy one. I guess, we pretty much didn't change at all, except for some of us, in terms of looks. But in terms of characteristics and attitude, we barely change. We were still the noisy cheerful ones. I had a good time catching up with them and talking bout the past, the fun we had during class times. =D

Field Trip

I just received an email from my next sem's lecturer stating that we'll be going on a field trip to Perak to assist in our first assignment for my Marketing Planning and Implementation. Our topic will be on non-profit and eco-tourism. My tutorial group will be heading to Belum Rainforest from the 29th to the 31st of July. I really don't know if I should go or not. I've yet to know whose in my tutorial group. Hmmmm. Deep thoughts bout it.

And finally, last week managed to visit Velvet, Zouk. Its been ages since I last went to Zouk. It has always been Rootz all this while. It'll always be a good night at Zouk no matter what. I had so much fun with the great company and music! I thought that I wasn't able to go on clubbing at first as when I got out of the car, came to realised that the zip on my dress wasn't zipped properly. Went to a closed corner to fix the zip and luckily, manage to be fixed. We've got a table so strategic that it got the view of the whole dancefloor and the podium was right in front of us. Haha. The guys must be enjoying their view. =)

Went up to Genting for the weekend. Got Mom to booked the room using her points, really do save alot. We had a room in Highland Hotel. =) The weather up there is lovely. Cold throughout the whole trip there. Its been ages since I felt Genting being this cold for the entire day. Theme park there was a failure seriously. Its not up to standard anymore. Most of the good rides are under maintenance. The only thing that excite us was the Corkscrew. =/

At night, Bro suggested that we have a drink at Coffee Bean instead of Starbucks. The wind outside is so strong that night, we were practically shivering all over. HAHA. I had a fun trip overall and do want to go up to Genting again for its weather. Won't pay for the theme park again. Not worth at all.

I've been having too much time at home feeling all so bored. So I thought I should use this time to update again about my new home. I've recently shift to Mutiara Homes right behind The Curve. Loving this place more each day. Although its near to The Curve, but I think I've been there like less than 10times in this few months. LOL!

Staying in condominium definitely has a totally new feel to it. The house is so much more windy and the facilities are great! Furthermore, the build up of this condo is huge as well, doesn't feel like as if we're staying in a condo. =)

The Big Two-6 (Part II)

I'm finally done with my finals! And I just realised that my winter break is so short. Only for about 2 weeks plus. At least I get to rest my brain for a while. Been squeezing out all the juice for this finals. During this break, can't wait to meet up with ShinYi and HueiLin when their back! =) But also, ShuShen just left last Saturday and soon, Jamie's gonna leave on the 14th. =(

Whatever it is, I'm supposed to update on Part II of Ryan's birthday. I did a surprise for him in The Library. Gathered our bunch there to wait for him. I even blindfolded him to make he know nothing bout the place we're going and what we're doing. HAHA. It was a fun night indeed! We even had a cute beer mug cake courtesy of his closest sister, Chia Yee!

The Big Two-6 (Part I)

Just a quick update and I'll be back to my studies. =)

Last Sunday, decided to have an early birthday dinner for the boyfriend, since I will be "busy" the next few days. My original plan was to bring him to have a good western pork since he loves pork so much! Such a pig. HAHA. Thank goodness I did ask him what he wanted to eat before I actually brought him to the restaurant. When asked, he said he felt like eating lamb. Rush, rush, rush to decide for a new place that's good in lamb. Asked around, and Mom told me that the Lamb Shank in Souled Out is really good. So, Souled Out it was. We had a great dinner there. The food was good, and the seating we got was just perfect. =) Everything seems to fall in place, just so right.

After dinner, wanted to bring him for an Ice-Cream Choc Fondue at Dessert's Bar, Tropicana. We rushed all the way there just to find that the place has been closed down. Disappointed but at least had a great meal.

My face looks so white here. Its the compact powder I'm using now from Benefit. It's supposed to match my skintone, but I guess it failed.

This is only the first part to his big day. There's more to come, will post it up after my finals.

New York!

Daddy's going to New York on Monday. And I've got a whole list of things that I want him to get for me. I want most is a new watch. My watches are all in a bad shape already. Even those hand-me-downs from Mom. I've been wearing leather strap watches all this while, so I'm opting for something different. A bracelet type instead. I eyed one in Fossil the other day and it looked so pretty. Since Fossil is from US, I'm sure it'll be much cheaper over there inclusive of duty tax.

Look at how pretty is the watch! Actually I'm in a dilemma between two designs. Either the one with chronograph or just this plain pearl dial. Hmmm. I shall let my Dad decide when he's there. I've thought of asking him to get me Stila products as well, but I think make-up should never ever let guys buy them. =)

I've been setting a resolution to run at least 3 times a week, but I've not been really disciplined enough to follow them. Its either the gym is occupied, or I'm always out. Pfft!

SPSS can go die!

SPSS is a real turnoff for my mood. SPSS is a software programme used to compile and analyse my Market Research Methods. Last month, had a set of questionnaires distributed all over focusing on influences to nightclubs. Now, we had to run all the data in SPSS. Which is such a killer. Its so so hard to use! Reminds me of the last time I used MYOB. Pfft!

I'm still fighting with the software! But I'm only left with 2 steps and I'm done with it. SPSS will no longer bother me. HAHAHA.

Wesak Day

Thank goodness for the public holiday yesterday. Really needed a long weekend. Although I only have one class on Fridays, but somehow, knowing its a public holiday makes me feel relaxed. Due to that fact, I've not been studying at all nor finish up on my assignment. Lazy me, that even John used Hunny Madu's song - Miss Strong and converted it to Miss Lazy.

It all started when we met up for lunch at Kanna Curry House in PJ near Robsman (not too sure bout the spelling though) round-a-bout. Didn't indulge myself into the yummy banana leaf rice as I was still full from my breakfast at Village Park's Nasi Lemak in Uptown. Like seriously, the Nasi Lemak there is one of the best I've eaten. Even Dad fell in love with it the very first time. =)

After that, left to Digital Mall to get a new mouse for my laptop. Got a cute one from Logitech. What more, that its purple in colour. Yeng-ness.

French made Easy

As so it seems, French made easy if you watch a French movie with English subtitles. Always thought that I could at least brush up my French if I were to watch their movies. But I was wrong. In French movies, those people speaks so fast that I could hardly catch their words. Maybe a word or two would be fine for me. But if I were to catch a whole sentence, I guess, I'll be the worst translator.

The latest movie that I watched was Coco Avant Chanel. Its a really good movie I would say. More of a historical cum romance movie. Very, very interesting indeed.

I would give it a 8/10 for a good storyline, and also the oh-so-hot looking guy. ;)

Went to watch this movie with ShuShen. We had so much to catch up. Or rather, I've got too much to tell her as we've not been hanging out lately since she stopped studying in Monash to go over to Melbourne.

Finals in due time

Its already approaching mid-May. Also an alarm showing that my finals is just weeks away. No, actually exactly one month away. Hmm. Its the time to study again and be in nerd mode for hours in a day. If that ever happens actually. HAHA.

I've still got 2 assignments due this coming week, which I haven't been working on at all. Being lazy as usual. Assignments never seem to bother me until the very last minute like one day before. =/

Yesterday, managed to go for clubbing after 1month plus. Which most parents claims that its counted often. As for me, often is when people go to clubs more than 4 times a month. Even twice a month for me is very frequent already. But yesterday's trip didn't pay off well as I didn't enjoy at all. It was kinda boring for me. The crowd wasn't that good. And most of all, it was in Rootz. Double sigh.

Feeling the stress

Oh yes, I am feeling lots and lots of stress now. Assignments piling up again as usual. This time although I had only 2 assignments in a week, but one of them is Consumer Behaviour with 3000 words report! I was slacking much as usual, doing last minute work. Managed to finish it up in under 3 days. The results wouldn't be good I guess as I was crapping all the way. I don't even know what I was typing.

And I finally got my connection from Streamyx. 4mbps! Whee! Its considered fast for me as I took only 15mins to download an episode of Glee. I managed to download from episode 14 all the way to 18 already. Happy, happy! =)

Life without Connection

Being in the new home is good, but living without any internet connection is pure torture. I can't seem to start my on my assignments as my Consumer Behaviour assignment needs me to find background information online. Stats assignment isn't too bad as I didn't need the internet at all.

So, here I am now, posting this up at Starbucks, The Curve while parents are doing some shopping at Ikea. The flea market at the Street is really tempting me. Its been ages since I last went to a flea market. UGghhh... I need to concentrate on my assignment. LOL!

New Home

I am now posting this up from the boyfriend's home while he's at work. =) Needed to borrow his internet connection as my new home doesn't have broadband yet. I had a multiple choice quiz for Consumer Behaviour. Am glad that I scored 4/5 for the overall score. Very, very satisfied indeed. =D

New home is definitely looking good for now, although its still in a messy condition. But the facilities are great!!

Like seriously, I really really don't like doing Market Reasearch Method. The assignment is so so time consuming. Although I really do enjoy Dr Ting's class, but designing questionnaires and coming up with literature review is just killing me!

In between time while doing group discussions, my groupmates and I would always end up going for badminton sessions. Its either in Ara Court or in Subang Racquet Club. Most of the time, it'll be in Subang as it is much cheaper. I'm in deep need of losing my weight or rather tone my body. If that ever happens though. =P

Daddy's birthday

It was Daddy's birthday yesterday. But since he was in Jakarta for a business trip, we decided to celebrate it 2 days earlier, on Friday. Been cracking my head on how to surprise him as the last time we celebrated my Mom's birthday in El Cerdo. Had the idea to bring him to karaoke as he always wanted to do so, but we always bail out. HAHA. Initial plan was to book AmpSquare in Sunway Pyramid. But somehow, my Dad suggested to my Mom that we could go to RedBox + in Pavilion. I don't know how, he could read our minds. So in the end, we agreed to go to Pavilion. Made the reservations and got a bottle of Chivas, which my Dad made so much noise. He insisted that we didn't have to get the whiskey as we don't drink much. But the only reason we got the whiskey was because he liked drinking. =S

Didn't stay long at RedBox as the food was horrible! And we had plans to party in Velvet with the bunch, including my Brother. Left early leaving my parents some time alone. =)

Mid-sem break

Been longing for this mid-sem break since weeks ago. But it seems like there's no break at all as I still got to rush on another assignment due next week. Hmm. I'm feeling the stress. All at one go. I need to do my assignment, pack my house, come out with a budgetary for my dad and study if possible. There's so much things to do in so little time. =(

So yeah, this will be my 5th time shifting house ever since I was born. Known to all my friends already that I shift house frequently every 2-3years. This time, I'll be shifting away from my girlfriends, to Mutiara Damansara. I don't know if its a good thing or a bad thing actually. I'll be nearer to the boyfriend but further away from me girlfriends.But I guess it couldn't be that bad after all as we all can drive.

I feel the sudden urge of eating pasta. Greedy me. MMMmmmmm.

So yeah, I really wanted to update my blog. Even tried to update using my phone, but failed. Haha. I've been really busy busy bee this whole week as most of my assignments due right before Easter break. At least I still managed to go out on Sunday, with Juli and the bunch at Bangsar. Had fun shopping and spent a little time on our assignment at Starbucks. I love the environment in Bangsar. It feels so cozy to me, like as if I'm overseas. =)

Penang Food Hunt

Just came back from Penang on Sunday. We finally made it to Penang after months of craving to go there for a massive food hunt. And indeed we had a massive amount of eating once we reached there. Had their lok lok, assam laksa, prawn mee, char koay teow, pasembor, fried chicken skin, muar chee, otak-otak, curry noodles, pork porridge and ice kacang! Whoa. Whole lot of food! The trip was so so fun! And the room we got was a 2-bedroom suite. Worth the price that we paid for with good seaview. We paid approximately RM500 per night at Flamingo Hotel in Tanjung Bungah, which was really up to the standard, except for their poor service, but the room was lovely. =)

iPhone fever

I know, everyone's been getting iPhone nowadays. And that includes me. I wanted a Blackberry actually, but Dad kept insisting that BB is not suitable for me and that iPhone is more for my age group. So after much persuasion, finally got the iPhone. Didn't regret at all as I'm so stuck to the games right now. Its all so addictive! I'm currently having a purple casing, but hunting for a much better one with the right shade of purple as mine is a little too dark that it looks like blue at some point. =S

John's Big 26

March somehow seems to be packed with plans even though I have like 3 assignments due in the same week, which is the last week of March. But my life seems to still be in the holiday mode. Going out all the time, or if not, slack at home. Last Saturday, went over to Rootz, Lot 10 to celebrate John Paul's birthday. I've never seem to like Rootz though. It's always so so packed with people. The music this time wasn't too bad. Much better than my last trip.

Its only 2am at that time, and he looked drunk already. HAHA. Trying hard to stand straight.

Will be going to Penang over the weekend and I can't wait! Got the rooms for a very very reasonable price.

Movie Day

I feel like its been ages since I last watched movie. So decided to watch any movie thats good. Finally settle down with 72 Tenants of Prosperity. Have been hearing alot of friends saying that its hilarious, so thought of watching it. And true enough, it was really really very funny!

Would give it a 7/10. Must watch!

Then on Sunday, went to watch another movie again. This time, we watched Solomon Kane. The show is considered very violent for me. Couldn't take it at some parts of the show. But overall, the show is good!

Give it a 8/10. 2nd must watch show!!! =D

For 3 weekends in a row, parents has been away to stay in KL, Malacca and recently, Genting. But, I wasn't lonely at all. In fact, my weekends were fully packed that at the end of the weekend, I feel so exhausted and so not looking forward to the weekdays. =(

Last day of CNY

So fast yesterday was already the last day of CNY if I'm not mistaken. Didn't really keep track as this year's CNY was really really quiet for me. Classes start today but yet I've still got to work part time for my current job with much more flexible timing. My boss allowed me to come to work whenever I don't have class. But the problem I have is whether I can cope up with my studies or not as I have to juggle my time between class and work and also yoga which I'll be starting real soon. HMMM. I've got to think real hard about what I really wanna do.

First day of lecture was so short. I had only one class, which is from 5pm-6pm. Went all the way to uni after work just to find out that the lecture lasted only 30mins. =S

Sexy Momma's Big Day

So yeah, last week on Tuesday, celebrated Mom's birthday in El Cerdo. Early that day, was practically rushing to get her present. Its really bad doing things last minute as I was rushing up and down the whole day. Was packed with plans as well. Had to go for Jamie's open house for lunch, then head over to One U to search for a nice wristlet for Mom. In the end, decided to buy a really good one from Coach. Decided to get her a cake as well, cause its been ages since my Mom last blew a candle from the cake. Got her Baskin Robbin's ice cream cake. Came home, rush to get ready then went down to KL in 2 cars as I had to hide the cake from her. =)

The outcome of my hard work paid off as my Mom was really really very happy. Tears of joy was all over her. HAHAHA.

CNY this year has been really really quiet for me. As I can't celebrate since my granny passed away a few months back only. Valentine's Day was a no biggie as well cause I need to be in dad's side grandparent's house for dinner. So overall, February is a quiet month but I love the long break from work. =) Not only that, I realised that I get to meet up with the boyfriend like every single day for the whole week. ShinYi the Tallie has finally left us....

I've mentioned it in my previous post. ShinYi is now at Perth. Which she is starting to adapt to the life there I guess. I'm glad that she finally found a place to stay as before she left, she actually haven't found anywhere to stay yet. Now all's settled I think. =)

Before she left, we made an effort to meet up at Nando's Bukit Raja. At first, she thought that it was only Jamie and her having dinner together. But little did she know that we, the other girlfriends were going to be there as well. Its just a little surprise for her before she left.

Early February

Been really really busy eversince I came back from Bali. Will update on the trip real real soon. Work is being more and more hectic as my colleague just left, so I had to do double the work now even with my boss helping out. =(

Just attended my company's annual dinner on Friday night at Tropicana Club. The food was just OKAY, but the company was great plus I won a lucky draw prize! Consider myself lucky as I was only a temporary staff and in the first place, I wasn't invited to this dinner, but my boss insisted that I replace my colleague. Which, I wasn't able to send ShinYi off at the airport as she's flying off to Perth. Overall, I had fun there, dancing with my boss and other colleagues. After the dinner, went for after party at Velvet, Zouk with the bunch and I met a few of my colleagues there as well. I had a fun fun night!

Bali, Bali, Bali!

Will be flying off to Bali tomorrow early in the morning. Dad got us Business class tickets! Whee! He redeemed the tickets using his Enrich points as he travels alot. Will be there for 4 days over the weekend. At first I wasn't excited to go at all as I used to assume that people go to Bali specially for their beach. But I was wrong, there's so many other stuff to do in Bali. Making me all excited now.

Bought a camera last weekend just before this trip so that I'm able to take pictures. I set my eyes on the Canon Ixus 200 before I went scouting for one. But when I was in the shop, took a look at the Ixus 200 and also the Powershot S90. Immediately I fell in love with the S90 as the color quality was so so much better than the Ixus! Price wise, around RM200 more pricey, which I'm willing to pay for better quality.

Its a Sunday...

I just realised that I tend to update on every Sunday. Oh well. Weekend was packed with activities as usual. The only time that I'm free, so I'll have to fully utilise them. On Friday went up to Ampang Lookout Point to have a drink. It was so chilly up there, great weather for the night! Had Mango and Lime flavored ShiSha. Yumm, yumm! The chilly weather really goes well with ShiSha. I want more!!! Ken Nie was Lookout Point virgin & also ShiSha virgin. But sadly now, he's not anymore. Nyeh nyeh nyeh.

Yesterday, after French class, went over to Pyramid to watch the Avatar in 3D! The show is so so AWESOME!!! I know I'm outdated for watching it only now after so so long. At first I was feeling a little dizzy with the 3D glasses on, but later on, got used to it and I enjoyed the show.

I would give it a 8.5/10. Must watch!!

Missed Rootz last night as I was feeling so so tired plus the bear was tipsy from the wedding dinner. HAHAHA.

I don't like HORROR movies!

Yeap. Its true. I seriously don't like horror movies at all. I just watched Paranormal Activity yesterday with Ryan, Ken Nie and Rowena. My goodness, the show is not that horror but it really plays with my mind. It has got me thinking whole night bout all the scary scenes. Its like as though its from a real life experience as the movie is made from a first-person view. =S

Been having BKT two days in a row now. Saturday with the usual bunch all the way at Kepong. So far, which I find it the best! Hehe. Then today with the girlfriends at Taman Rashna, Klang. Had to bring my butt there as ShinYi would be leaving in 2 weeks time to Perth. She got an offer in UWA. Congrats babe! I'm sure you'll enjoy there!

Eugene's SEXY 26th!

Last night was Eugene Antoine's birthday and we celebrated it in Rootz, Lot 10. It was my first time checking out the new rooftop club, together with Ryan and ChunHien too. We were the newbies to the club, it was Eugene's first time too. The company that were there were AWESOME!!! Sadly, Eugene was practically gone when the night is just starting, at 1am. He had 3 Flamings and 2 Submarines. That was the ones that got him drunk and made good friends with the toilet bowl for good 20-30minutes. HAHAHA.

Rootz was somehow out of my expectations. The place was kinda small though. Pretty much reminds me of BarCelona. The dancefloor was really small, not only that, not many people were dancing. They used speakers as the podium. The only thing that catches my eyes was the deco in the club. Very edgy and modern. I like! =)

It's already the year 2010 in just a blink of an eye. Time is passing real quick, which gets me worried. I don't wanna get old so quick. HAHA.

Anyway, celebrated NYE in John's house. Had a small get together with the bunch to have a drinking session. We had to bring our own booze, so I brought Hennessy, Chivas and also Dunhill. That's not all, there were 2 bottles of Black Label ready at John's house. &&& there was only around 12 of us. But we only finished up a total of 3 bottles if I'm not mistaken. Plus a bottle of wine when the clock strikes 12. It was definitely one hell of a night where I was feeling so tipsy and high. HAHAHA.

In the last two weeks, I watched Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 and Sherlock Holmes.

The Chipettes were so so cute! But kinda predictable though.

Me Birthday

This year's birthday is definitely one of a kind. I never knew that I would get tricked by my own boyfriend whom I claimed that he's bad in hiding stuff from me. &&& just yesterday, or should I say, the last few days, he tricked me all the way. The bunch and I was supposed to have lunch together at Tenji's without the boyfriend as he claimed that he can't get leave. =S

He actually played it well as I really believed when he text me early in the morning telling me that he reached his office, having lunch and had lots of work to be done. Little did I know, while I was eating nicely, he stood behind me with a huge bouquet of flowers. What more that it was purple roses with lilies, my two favourite flowers. This did not stop right there, there was more. But, being myself, I'm too lazy to say more. HAHAHA.

This year's Christmas was not too bad. Didn't have any proper plans as I'm pretty sure everywhere would be so so jammed pack. Moreover, I can't really celebrate as my granny just passed away. I practically lost the mood when I brought down my tree. But its okay, there's always next year, and I'm sure it'll be much better.

Had it themed "White Christmas".

After attending the X'mas party in Pavilion, the very next day, we had the Ford Model Search after party in Zouk. The best part is, my whole family came was there too! We had free flow of whisky and me being cheeky, wanted beer only and I got it! =D

Parkson X'mas Party

After work on Thursday, went straight down to Pavilion for Parkson's exclusive X'mas event. Was caught in a bad bad jam, as expected cause its after working hours. Reached kinda late but lucky for us as there were nothing much to do there anyway. Just stand and hang around while watching musical performance and find out whose the lucky draw winners. The lucky draw prizes were so so so awesome!!!! RM1k hampers from the cosmetics and fragrance department. Sadly, I'm not allowed to join. =(

Been really really to update lately. Cause there's basically nothing much. I know that I've been busy searching high and low for universities. I don't wanna stay back in Monash anymore. I need to go to a more affordable university so that I'm able to go over to Aussie in the later years. So far, the only one that suit me would be Metropolitan where they have twinning programme to RMIT. At first I thought RMIT wasn't their partner university anymore, but apparently, starting from next year, they're having RMIT back with them. So I guess, I would most probably go to Metropolitan next year. =)

Last Sunday, had a date with the boyfriend in One U. Booked movie for The Princess and the Frog.

Gonna give it a 7/10. A typical Disney movie I would say.

Its been a week since I last updated. I thought I would have lots to update as my weekend was filled with plans. Friday was supposed to have dinner at WaiKit's college as his guest again. But we couldn't reach there on time, so I told him to get other guests instead. First plan failed. We had tai chao in Paramount.

On Saturday, went to French class as usual without ShuShen as she was too tired. Came back home and set up the christmas tree. This year's theme was White Christmas. I used silver condiments and filled with lots and lots of ribbons. In the night, Ryan's mom brought me to have Japanese buffet in Eastin. The sashimi was so so fresh. Then went for midnight movie with Ryan. We watch Ninja Assasin. I didn't even know that Rain was the main actor until I watched it. The show was not too bad.

I would give it a 6/10 as the story line is pretty boring.

Came home right after movie, and headed to the comfy bed. While sleeping, received a phone call from Dad. Thought he wanted to ask me something, but in turn, he passed on a sad news. My grandma passed away that very night where I had lots of fun earlier. I couldn't hold back but to tear. I'm glad that I had him by my side that night. A shoulder to lean on. Or else, I would've been worst.

Po poh, I hope you're much better off in the other world where there's no pain and suffering. I'll always miss you. RIP.

Last Saturday, accompanied Mom to her friend's surprise birthday party in Carvell's bar and restaurant in Desa Sri Hartamas. The place is not too bad as they had live band and the food was really really yummy. My victim for the day was Ryan of course. Brought him along to kill my boredom. =D

So yeah, my Bro's birthday falls on the 24th. It was nothing special though. Parents and me had to work during the day, so we had a simple dinner at Shogun in One U. It was my first time trying out Shogun and it's really really good, compared to Tenji, although Tenji had more choices. But Shogun's sashimi is much fresher than Tenji's. After Shogun, Dad dropped us off at Ming Tien in Taman Megah to join the rest of the bunch, Ryan, Ken Nie, Rowena, John and Lee Jen. They were practically tearing so hard when we reached as they had the extra spicy taiwanese sausage. Bro became their next victim to try the sausage. HAHAHA. Looking at all the different reactions was really really very funny!!!! John could barely talk, Bro was sweating like mad on his first bite, Ryan was tearing non-stop, Rowena was red, Ken Nie had the glass stuck to his lips. LOL!

Velvety night

Finally, I get to have some fun after finals. Went over to Velvet yesterday after like almost 2 months not clubbing. Miss the loud beats, dance and the drinks. Best part is that, yesterday we had a really really huge group. Almost 25 people altogether. Clubbing in a big group is awesome! Get to steal the dancefloor and the dance podium. HAHAHA. Didn't take much pictures as we were on the dancefloor most of the time unlike the last few times. Sadly, this trip, Chun Hien couldn't tag along as he's working for Cadbury. =S But ShuShen and her sis came.

My hair's longer now, with a much darker shade as I dyed it back to a natural brown. I looked so much better in darker hair. =)

Working pleasure

First day in a totally new company is definitely different. Surprisingly, it was quite interesting. I got to learn alot of new stuff and time did pass real quick. As usual, wanted to look good on my first day, so I wore heels. In the end, my legs felt so sore as I climbed up and down the stairs for GOD knows how many times. =S

Last Saturday, I got free passes to watch 2012. That show is one good show! Its really really good! A must watch.

Give it a 8.5/10. =D

Might be repairing my phone tomorrow plus doing my nails if there's time.
